Caroline Coleman is a London-based photographer who graduated from the University of Plymouth with a Photography degree in 2012. Since then, she has enjoyed a varied freelance career, with highlights including publication in National Geographic, reaching the final round of the Wildlife Photographer of the Year competition and photographing a charity event at Downing Street.
Travel and wildlife are the focus of Caroline’s digital portfolio, with her camera helping her explore new places and get closer to the natural world. At home, Caroline enjoys the unfiltered approach of film photography, having been influenced by the work of Don McCullin whilst at university. You can watch Caroline and her father on BBC's The Repair Shop (Series 9, Episode 14), where experts restored her grandfather's WW2 Kodak Retinette camera. The experience inspired a viewfinder tattoo on her left wrist, joining the word “Cick!” already inked on her shutter finger after her first solo trip back in 2013.
